Do I need to be in pain to benefit from Structural Integration?
No. Structural Integration is not only beneficial for acute or chronic pain. Many clients come because they notice their posture has deteriorated, they feel stiff, or are constantly under tension – even without experiencing "pain." Structural Integration is also very effective for prevention and improving body awareness.
I work at a desk all day – can SI still help long-term?
Yes. Structural Integration aligns the body so that it can better cope with the demands of everyday life – even if your work environment does not change. You learn to perceive your body more consciously and recognize postural errors earlier. This helps you prevent tension and feel freer and more upright even while sitting.
Can I integrate the learned principles into my daily work routine?
Yes. The accompanying movement training provides practical strategies for maintaining a healthy posture – especially during screen work or frequent mobile phone use. This can reduce tension and prevent it in the long term.
