Association Development

In 2002, IDA was initially founded as a pure Rolfing® Association Switzerland. From just a few members, our association has now grown to 145 members (as of 2025).

Thanks to our commitment, Structural Integration is now a therapy method firmly established in the Swiss healthcare system:

Since 2015, we have also been one of the 22 methods recognized by the Professional Organisation Complementary Therapy (OdA KT) for the federal professional qualification “Complementary Therapist”.

Our method is also recognized by the Register of Empirical Medicine (EMR), the ASCA Foundation for Complementary Medicine, and other registration bodies.

In 2018, as one of the world’s first professional associations for Structural Integration, we took a pioneering step: We opened our membership to graduates of all IASI-recognized schools of Structural Integration.

Our members have completed their training at various educational institutions – be it in Europe, the USA, or other locations. This global diversity enriches our network and enables us to learn and grow together.
